Learn to Fly Fish

Our Learning to Fly Fish class is geared to the person who has never fly fished before. Subjects to be covered will include; learning about gear, knots, flies, basic entomology, casting, and fly fishing strategies. The use of rods and reels is provided. A total 6 hours of instruction (three 2 hour sessions). Maximum of 5 students per class. Cost is $60.00 per student. Learning to Tie Your Own Flies

The thrill of creating you own fly and catching your first fish on that fly is something that you will never forget! The emphasis in our Beginner Fly Tying Class is to learn fundamental techniques that will allow you to tie a many of the fly patterns in use today. Patterns to be tied include the Wooly Bugger, the Gold-Ribbed Hare’s Ear Nymph, the Pheasant Tail Nymph, the Prince Nymph, the Mosquito, the Elk Hair Caddis. Use of equipment and all materials and hooks are included. The class consist of six hours of instruction and is limited to eight students. Cost is $60.00 per student.
